Enlarged issue covering all of James Island and indicating 1/2-mile concentric circles centered on St. Michaels, Charleston, "first [and] second line[s] of Rebel defences," positions occupied by the Union Army and Navy, and "Rebel batteries in possession [of] National forces [and] batteries still held by the Rebels [on] Sept. 7th 1863."
