CREATED/PUBLISHED [S.l., 1862] NOTES Scale ca. 1:1650 and 1:82,000. Detailed map of Roanoke Island battlefield and a map of Roanoke Island and vicinity. The former indicates Union and Confederate troop positions, the location of a Confederate battery, a road bisecting the battlefield, and vegetation, while the latter shows forts and the number of guns at each, positions of Union and Confederate vessels, drainage, and names of principal features.
